Download
Before we get started, we first need to download the game itself and the patches. The download Files are listed below. Clicking the name will automatically download the files.
Installing NASCAR Racing 2003
After downloading the .zip file, go to the location you downloaded the file to and extract it to it's own folder. I use 7zip and it can be done by right clicking the .zip file, highlighting 7zip, and clicking extract to.
After Unzipping, you can delete the .zip file. Open the new NR2003 folder, Nascar Racing 2003 Season - Windows folder, and run Setup.exe (Note- Its about to get loud, turn down your volume!).
It will play an engine noise and ask you if you heard the sound file, click yes.
Click next, click yes, then it will ask you where you want to install the game. I recommend installing this in the default destination folder (Do not install this in your Program Files or NR2003 will not run correctly).
Enter the CD Key which is: RAB2-RAB2-RAB2-RAB2-8869 and click next.
Click next again and it will begin the installation.
After installing, a DirectX or Later Detected message will pop up, click ok.
It will then ask you to select a program folder, click next.
It will ask if you want to add a desktop shortcut, click no as we will add that later in the guide.
It will ask if you want to register, click register later.
It will ask to check for updates, click no.
Lastly, it will ask you to restart your computer, select no, I will restart my computer later and click finish.

Run nr2003_update_en_1000_1201.
Click next, I agree and next, next, next.
If you changed your destination folder from the default install location, click browse and select the install folder. Otherwise click next, then next.
Uncheck View Read Me File and click finish.
Go back to the Patches folder.
Run nr2003 1201 Fix.

No CD Patch
Go to the destination folder you installed NR2003. The default location is C:\Papyrus\NASCAR Racing 2003 Season
Right click the NR2003.exe file and click rename. Rename it to NR2003Orig.
Open the No CD EXE folder. Right click the NR2003.exe file and paste it into your NASCAR Racing 2003 Season folder. (Do not drag and drop the file into the folder, it will just create a shortcut instead of the application).
You can now right click the NR2003.exe in the NASCAR Racing 2003 Season folder, create a shortcut, and move it to your desktop.
Run The Game
Double click and run the game (Before running the game, make sure your wheel or your controller is plugged in).
The Graphics Configuration window will open.
Keep the renderer on DirectX D3D, make sure the display adapter is on your graphics card, and change the graphics mode to your resolution. Click finish.
A confirmation message will pop up, click ok.
After the configurater runs, it will say the settings have been saved successfully. Click ok.
The game will open and take you straight to the controller calibration menu. Calibrate your wheel or controller and click ok.
Assign your controls and click done on the bottom right.
Go to the test session, select a track and click continue, and click drive!
